Corporate greed seems to have come to the forefront in recent years. Since 9/11 and America's entrance into Iraq many reports of corporate 'insider dealing' have been revealed on companies such as Haliburton which seem to have the ear of Republicans in high places. Other examples are the Enron scandal where George Bush was close friends of the CEO in charge of the theft. Bush even had a pet name for Enron's founder Ken Lay which was 'Kenny Boy'. Below is a link to a scanned file where Entergy Arkansas asked the users of their electricity to foot a multi-million dollar hike in rates so that they could pay their country club membership fees, have custom golf balls made, buy box seats at ball games and much more.

Over the years it seem that Enron is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to corporate greed. AIG and others had elaborate parties at taxpayers' expense when the Bush administration granted bailout money to them. The list goes on and on.

Republicans are not the only party tied to special interests. Everyone knows the interests of the Democrats, but for the self-righteous, pious Republicans it is always an embarassment and a source of irritation to them when their back-room dealings are brought to light.
