MUSLIM PARENTS BURNED TEENAGE DAUGHTER WITH HOT COOKING OIL

March 25, 2018 – Information surfaced today regarding a teenage girl missing since January from Texas. The 16-year old girl ran away from her muslim parents who reportedly beat her and poured hot cooking oil on her as punishment for not submitting to an arranged marriage. Abdulah Fahmi Al Hishmawi, 34, and Hamdiyah Saha Al Hishmawi, 33 had agreed to be paid a sum of $20,000 for an arranged marriage with their daughter, to which the daughter, Maarib Al Hishmawi, refused. The girl was cared for by an unnamed organization who has cared for her since she ran away. Her siblings have been taken into protective care by authorities. Arranged marriages with little girls as young as 9 years old is commonplace among muslims in other countries.
