Trump Campaign Manager Lewandowski Cleared: No Wrong Doing

April 14, 2016 – Today prosecutors cleared Donald Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, of any wrong doing in a case filed by former Breitbart reporter, Michelle Fields. Weeks ago Fields attended a campaign event of Donald Trumps, entered a secure area, and took Donald Trump by the arm. According to reports on news networks, if was found that Lewandowski stepped in to steer Fields away from Trump. According to reports by Lewandowski’s attorney on Fox News, FBI agents stated that common practice is for the campaign manager to intervene when someone breaches a secure area. According to the attorney, Field’s boyfriend initially reported that Fields was almost thrown to the floor. Since that time the statement has been found false and prosecutors decided no evidence of wrongdoing was present against Lewandowski. Discussion on Fox News is that Fields may be seeking a civil suit in the matter. No word yet on the monetary awards she may be trying to obtain, in the event a civil suit is filed.
